I was thinking to a gift for a friend, something to thanks her for helping us so many times with our cat. She took care of Scendidilí (our cat) more than one time.
I thought, Geneviève loves cookies and she loves chocolate so why don´t bake something for her: some chocolate and coffee cookies.
I had already tried these cookies for our housewarming party and they were a success. They are really simple to bake and really easy to enjoy.
Chocolate and coffee cookies
Ingredients
- 250 gr dark chocolate
- 200 gr flour
- 1 tsp backing powder
- 100 g sugar
- 50 gr butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 1 pinch of salt
- powder sugar
Recipe and Preparation
Preheat the oven at 180 ° C.
In a large bowl over some simmering water, melt the butter and the chocolate and mix until smooth. Meanwhile, put together the flour and baking powder, add salt and sugar and stir.
Add the eggs in to flour mixture. Let the chocolate cool down a little.
Mix all ingredients well and then put the mixture in the refrigerator for an hour.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small balls, pass them in powdered sugar and place them on a baking tray covered with oven paper well distant from each other.
Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
So I hope she liked my cookies and I hope you will like these too.
