For me anything can be more romantic than a summer evening in Rome.
The old narrow street in the middle of the city are fascinating…every corner can be a piece of story or a wonderful background for my pictures.
Evelina and Shahab arrived here for their honeymoon and I proposed to guide them in a small tour of Rome, my chaotic, wonderful city.
First stop…ice cream from Giolitti Gelateria!
Then we have been in almost every important Roman square. (Here we are in front of the Pantheon).
And going around with friends it´s the best way to discover nice place and wonderful churches that you knew from books but you have never visited before. (Here it´s Sant´Ivo alla Sapienza church)
Have you ever tried to drink in one of this Roman small fountain. We called those: fontanelle or nasoni (big nose).
(This is Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi and Sant´Agnese in the middle of Piazza Navona).
This square is now famous as artists and painters meeting point.
Teatro Marcello and the perfect light!
Roman forum from Capitoline Hill, Campidoglio.
Here from the Campidoglio´s gardens the light and view surprised them and me too.
Rome is amazing but sometimes the Romans forget about it. We are so busy to run and work and survey to the traffic that we don´t realize what we have all this treasures around us.
This is Rome, this is my wonderful romantic city!
